What's happening this week in Kids of Kindness

After learning about how fantastic mistakes are we moved onto creating a mindset of YET!

When we get frustrated or feel that we can't do something, just add a YET to the end of your sentence. By doing this, you go from having a fixed mindset to having a growth mindset.

Let's try it... "I can't play the piano as well as Jamie can. I'll never be as good as him!" This statement is a fixed mindset statement. Let's change it to "I can't play the piano as well as Jamie can YET! If I keep trying I will be as good as he is soon!"

We created our own fixed mindset statements and changed them into growth mindset statements using the POWER OF YET!
